Zotero 6.0.8: Images in notes not syncing properly to web and iPad anymore

When I add an image (either from a selection in a pdf or from a screenshot) to a note in Zotero 6.0.8 on Linux, it doesn't sync properly anymore. On the web and on the iPad the image just occurs as an empty outline. I remember this working perviously (maybe on a previous version, I'm not sure). Does anyone else experience this or know how to fix this?

Images weren't supported in notes before Zotero 6, and they would generally break syncing altogether if you tried to paste them in. In Zotero 6, images in notes are officially supported, but the web library and iOS still have the old note editor without support for notes. We plan to add the new note editor on those platforms later this year.

The new note editor, with support for embedded images, is now available in the web library.

I have encountered the same issue for both my zotero 6 and zotero 7, the images in the note cannot sync. The typings can be found in web library note, but the images section is just a blank windows. I am pretty sure the storage is enough, just notify an error that "Received error from Zotero Server: Not found". Any ideas?

@CL_OneD: Can you provide the zotero.org URL in the address bar after clicking on one such item in the web library?

Thanks, I found the issues. If I have enabled "Sync attachment files in my library using Zotero" under File Syncing, the images in the notes will be shown in my library already. Meantime, it will not sync my pdf files since they are just links.
