Zotero not working for me

When I try to open the program, I get a box with the message: "Zotero is already running, but is not responding. The old Zotero process must be closed to open a new window." and it gives me two options: Close Zotero and Cancel. I give Close Zotero and I get another window that says: "Your Zotero profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible." and it only gives me the OK option, I give it OK and it closes, it doesn't open, it doesn't work, I don't know what it could be. It was working fine for me until the beginning of the year, then it stopped working, I don't know if it's some Windows update that prevents it from working. Could anyone help me? Thanks.
