Upgrade StorageSharing libraries over local area network with ZeroConf
Collaboration over local area networks without setting up groups on zotero.org would be much appreciated, as shown by several discussions in the forums (e.g. http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/8605/how-do-you-collaborate-in-a-local-area-network/, http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/3574/share-on-local-servers/)
Although it would not bring all the features of zotero.org, support of ZeroConf as it was announced for the version 1.5 (http://www.dancohen.org/2008/07/09/zotero-15-sync-preview-and-much-more/) would largely meet the underlying needs.
It seems that a large chunk of code is already there. Would it be possible to revive its development?
