How to delete a highlight color in the inbuilt pdf reader?

I feel stupid here, but: When I am in the inbuilt pdf reader and highlight some text with a color, I cant delete that color anymore. When I click on the color again, it gets just darker... How can I get rid of the highlighting?


Also while we are at it: I can add comments to the pdfs. Am I right, that theres no function to search for the contents of that comment later?

    Just click on the highlight and press the delete key, or click the three-dots menu and select Delete.

    You can search for comments in the annotations sidebar in the PDF reader. It's not yet possible to search for annotations across your library from the library view, but that will be possible in a later version.
