Why my highlights or notes taken on Mac don't sync to iPad?

Does anyone know if the highlights or notes taken on Mac's Zotero can be synced to iPad's Zotero, and vice versa? Mine doesn't sync either way~ the notes I took on Mac stay on Mac and don't sync to my iPad~ Thank you for your time!

Yes, they sync. You have to be using Zotero's built-in PDF reader on the desktop. Annotations are stored in the database, so annotations you make on iOS won't show up in external PDF readers on the desktop.
