I would like to add here with a deviating problem.
When I have a PDF opened in Safari on Ipad (such as this one: https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/pdf/10.1177/13684310221099695 - beware, it might download the PDF instead of opening it in your browser), I would like to save the PDF in Zotero so that it may get the info for a databank entry through reading the meta data. If i use the share-menu (or "actions"-menu) of Safari/iOS, it only saves the URL.
(Please start new threads for new issues. If you're starting your post by saying it's a different problem, that's a good sign that you should start a new thread.)
PDF metadata retrieval on iOS is planned but won't happen for a little while.
