Collection containing item not being highlighted

  • Can others confirm this still works on Zotero 6? It doesn't work for me on Windows 11.

    Yes, it works.

    To be clear, this works in the main items list, not in the Advanced Search window (though it could be made to). You can double-click on the item in the Advanced Search window to focus it in the main items list.
  • Thanks for the reply. For me selecting an item and pressing/holding ctrl does absolutely nothing in the main list or in search results. Double-clicking opens the pdf.
    What am I doing wrong?
  • Are you running any third-party plugins? If so, disable them.

    If that doesn't help, can you provide a Debug ID for doing this?
  • Do you happen to have the Zotero night add-on installed? That appears to currently break this functionality.
  • You were right, thank you! I was using a Zotero Dark Theme - . Fixed the highlighting
