Suggestion: Show citation style when creating bibliography item.

I would like to request a feature. Can you add an example or an interactive output to the "Create Bibliography Item" tool?

I have no idea what the "Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition" looks like, and every time I end up blindly copying the citation to the clipboard and it is only once I paste it into word that I find out.

Can you make the "Create Bibliography Item" interactive so that I know in advance what the output will look like?

    How come you're not using the "Add/edit citation" button to add your references into Word? That's the recommended way of adding citations.

    Sorry, Word was just an example. I should have written whenever I use a program that is not synchronized with Zotero. This forum is a good example.

    Zotero does not show a preview of the citation. That is the feature that I am missing

    Check out the Zotero Preview add-on here: https://github.com/dcartertod/zotero-plugins that might do what you want, though not exactly as you describe it.
