Zotero freezing

I use Zotero with google docs. But I always seem to have problems with it freezing. this happens about every 3rd citation I do. then i have to close down the document and re-open, so i can start writing again, and zotero then still wont work for me.

I removed and reloaded zotero from my laptop last month, that fixed it for a bit, but its now happening again. I dont know what to do. its very frustrating and makes using zotero unviable. Is there a solution??

I use a Mac, pro laptop.

You can try installing the Zotero Connector Beta for Firefox which has an updated version of the Google Docs plugin and see if that works better for you.

Though generally, the current plugin is very stable, but sometimes the citation dialog won't automatically come to the front and you have to look for it through Zotero windows. If you refresh the document while Zotero is displaying the citation dialog, it is likely to break the citation session and you will then also have to restart Zotero to make it work again.
