Deleting duplicated files in Zotero's directory in Ubuntu

Because of some reason, I have gotten many copies of the same files in my Zotero's directory on my Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, and they are taking up a lot of space, I would like to delete them but I don't know how to do that automatically, as going through them one by one isn't a good solution.
I was looking if Zotero has the feature of making a copy of its database, so I may use that to create a new clean database.
Thank you very much in advance.
  • What files are you referring to? Zotero manages the files within the data directory, and you generally shouldn't be touching those.

If you want to free up disk space, you delete attachments through the Zotero interface and empty the trash.
