Upgrade StorageHighlights not saved to the file

I highlight the paper using the built-in reader from Zotero Desktop, and noticed that the highlights are not updated to the original PDF file in the computer. I tried to sync and re-start Zotero, but the highlights are still only shown in the app, not the original file.
