Error message on MacOS (Zotero 6): "A copy of Zotero is already open."
Hi,
I am unable to open the Zotero software on my Mac. I have a Firefox extension; my Zotero account includes one group shared via Dropbox, and other personal files.
The error message is as follows: "A copy of Zotero is already open. Only one copy of Zotero can be open at a time."
Despite checking forums about this same matter, I don't find the solutions applicable to me? I would appreciate all the help I can get. Thank you!

dstillmanTry restarting your computer. If the problem persists, go to your Zotero profile directory and delete the .parentlock file.
