PDF attachments not downloading in iPad

I use Zotero on my computer where PDFs open in the Zotero reader just fine. Recently they stopped showing up on my secondary device (iPad) despite both devices being synced automatically to one another. I can view the citation but the file itself will not download to be able to view with the reader on my iPad (it will open however on my computer). When I initiate the downloading of a PDF file on my iPad, no loading progress is ever made. I have enough local storage. D972119245

Update the app to the latest version, 1.0.3. You're still on 1.0.1 for some reason. (Have you disabled automatic app updates on iOS?)
