pdf reader request: keep focus in annotation editing when leaving and returning to Zotero

When I am writing comments in the annotation pane, I will frequently leave Zotero to go to another app (epub or kindle reader, usually to find page numbers etc.), and when I do so it closes editing. Can we keep editing open until I shift focus within Zotero?
