How to change [8][53][54][55][56] into [8,53-56] without unlinking citations?

do you know how it is possible with zotero on mac for office word to change the presentation of the cited numbers into the common one with , and - ?

Which style are you using?

You should add them all into the same cite bubble, not click on "Add citation" every time.
You'll need to manually recite them, so they appear together. To make this a bit easier, switch to an author-date (aka "Harvard") style, make the changes and then switch back to the numeric style you're using.
