Feature request: RECENTLY OPEN item

Even if my collection now contains many hundreds if not thousands items (papers, reports, ...) structured into many subcollections, I typically only return to just a few items at period of time (say, while working on a given paper). It would save me a lot of scrolling in my long lists of subcollections and papers, searching for "the other paper", if there is some RECENTLY OPEN list. This would be equally useful in the desktop and iOS versions. Many thanks for consideration.

In fact, the desktop version of Zotero does have a panel with open papers. I need something like that badly in the iPad version. Switching between papers from different subcollections is a pain right now.
