Zotero not working on google doc

Hi all,

There was no problem of citing on Google doc with Zotero on mac.
somehow (I guess it started since last chrome update)on google doc, either the menu Zotero or Z button does not work.
Once I click on google doc, nothing happens.
Zotero extension on chrome allows google doc integration.

Please help!

There's no point just repeating that something doesn't work without following the debugging steps we've given.
