Progress bar stuck

Never used Zotero before. Trying to insert first citation into a google doc. The blue-on-red progress bar got to about 3/4 and has not moved (~30 minutes). What am I doing wrong? More info:

    Can you restart Zotero and provide a Debug ID from Zotero for trying to insert a citation if you get this again?

    No need to start Zotero from the terminal.
