Can Zotero search for updated citation information?
When I'm connected to my University's server, one of my favorite Zotero features is "Find Available PDF." Over the years I've added an increasing number of "online first" publications. I'm wondering if there is a feature that allows Zotero to search for updated citation information using a DOI? If this is a feature and I've missed it, I apologize for the question (also I looked on the discussion and couldn't find this question).
For example, in 2019 I imported the DOI 10.1037/sah0000193 when it was online first (no date, no volume, no page numbers). I can manually check to see that it was published in 2020 with a volume and page numbers. I can manually add that information to the citation, or I can manually re-import the DOI.
I assume that Zotero is able to find PDFs based on the DOI. Is there a feature that allows Zotero to ping the DOI to see if there is updated citation information? This would be an amazing way to keep citations updated.
Thank you in advance.
