Cannot upgrade to Zotero 6.0.4

Dear colleagues,

For some reason I am not able to upgrade to Zotero 6.0.4. Once I click "Get the new version", Zotero starts downloading and I am then asked to restart it. However, after I restart it I continue receiving the following message:

"This version of Zotero is too old to sync. Please upgrade to a current version to continue syncing."

Can you please help?

  • That just means the upgrade didn't go through (and if you're getting that sync error, you're running a version that's years old). You can just reinstall Zotero from the download page. Your data won't be affected.
