Notes in metadata

I am surprised by the lack of metadata in Zotero items (at least on iOS). There's hardly enough to build a citation.

In particular, though, I would like a Notes field in the item metadata.

This is a bit cryptic. Could you say more about what you are seeing/expecting?
The Extra field can be used as a note in citations, but we generally advise users to try to avoid that and very few existing styles use it

Let me start over:

Please add the notes field from Zotero Desktop that appears when you select (but do not open) a PDF to the iOS app.

I found it. You've got to choose "Edit" when a parent item is selected, and scroll down. This is much more difficult to find than on the desktop.
