Use WedDAV to store Zotero data

I have a question about using WebDAV to store Zotero. I am now using 4shared. I could link zotero with 4shared and I could store the data in 4shared. However, today I found that the data I am storing in 4shared is stored in my local PC (~/zotero/) too. How could I keep the heavy storage only in the cloud and remove the data from the local computer?

Set your 4shared sync client to not sync the Zotero folder. Then also set the Zotero sync settings to download your files As Needed

I am trying to change the setting from zotero/preference/Sync, but it is still having sync with my local computer.

Could you tell me more in detail about how to set the preference? I am using mac os. I hope to know which check box I need to fill and which to leave blank. Thanks!
