Can't Sync - Can't talk to OpenOffice - Scared to reinstall

I had to reinstall mac and since then nothing has worked well with zotero

It has not synced to server for 12 days and I get error msg. Have tried Advanced Sync operations - nothing works. Now my online library is empty

I've timemachined everything and exported my library. I feel the only thing I can do is reinstall Zotero. But I'm really afraid to lose everything as I've tested import from the exported library and just get errors.

This is stressful - can anyone assure me I won't lose my library by reinstalling zotero? Also, I just reinstalled openoffice and it is again communicating with zotero, but will I have to do this again too?

    You won't lose your library by reinstalling Zotero, although I'm not certain it will fix your problem. Can you post the report ID here (after trying to sync again)?

    And the error msg has things in there about my google calendar and twitter... odd

    I'll wait to hear from you before I attempt reinstall.

    You have an extremely long (i.e., >256-character) collection name beginning with "Migration". Shorten that to fix this sync error.
