BibTeX files with comments

Apologies if this has been requested before. From my skimming of the Import/Export Forum (and personal experience) I gather that Zotero can't import BibTeX files with comments at the beginning, such as produced by JabRef and BibDesk. I'd like to request a more sophisticated import routine that would ignore comments before the first valid BibTeX entry.

    Zotero should ignore anything outside of an entry.
