feature request: copy bibtex to clipboard

Would be awesome to have this functionality in Zotero: Copy bibtex of selected references into clipboard. I often resort to google scholar to quickly copy a reference in bibtex format because the current option to export as file is too tedious.

Quick copy also works for all export formats including BibTeX: https://www.zotero.org/support/creating_bibliographies

Awesome, I did not know that!

Changing Edit > Preferences > Export > Item Format to BibTex and then selecting one or multiple references and pressing ctrl+shift+C did the job for me.
