OneDrive causing error

I've been redirected from https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/debugging_broken_documents.
It's OneDrive for Windows. The same file works fine with JurisM locally.
Where do I go from here?
  • Make sure there are no spaces from the path and filename.

    There's no difference here between Zotero and Juris-M. It's just an intermittent problem, and one we've never been able to reproduce, but removing spaces almost always fixes it.

    But I wonder, for the past.. I don't know.. almost a decade that I've been using Zotero, never ran into this problem. Why now all of a sudden? Is this on the developers' things-to-fix list?
    Leaving no space in the file name is doable but very inconvenient.

    We've never been able to reproduce it ourselves, so all we can really say is that when people experience this it's usually fixed by removing spaces or not storing documents in OneDrive.
