Hi, sorry for asking this here but I have looked everywhere else I can think of and can't find the answer but have to submit my assignment soon.

How do I use only one author name + et al for in-text citations instead of the full list of authors please?

I'm using Cite Them Right 11th edition - Harvard

Use this version of CTR, not the no-et-al version:

CTR has it set to "more than 4", show 1st+et al. and that's correct as per CTR guidelines.

In case you want that lower as you have different requirements from your uni you can either find a different style or you want to modify the et-al settings you find in the style on the line that starts with <citation....
