Upgrade StorageZotero update - does Advanced Search (phrase search) no longer allow certain characters?

I often use quote marks to allow phrase search, and today I noticed I'm unable to search for the string "e___nei". I often use three underscores like that in my language learning notes to show that the words on either side can have many different words/phrases between them, and it's really useful if I can search for that string of characters, including the three underscores. If phrase search disallows certain characters now (or uses them as wildcards, perhaps), is there a handy list available, so I can find a workaround? Many thanks for any advice - ngā mihi.
