Search disappears

When I do a search, and perform an action (such as moving an item to a folder), the search box clears and the records reload. Most of the time I would prefer the search term to remain, and my current search results to stay active - and I think that should be the default. Would others agree?

I've been meaning to say this for a long time. The resetting of the string in the search box is very inconvenient. If it is a simple thing to change it would improve usability a lot. Thanks again.

Has there been any development on this issue? Is there a ticket for it? I find this my biggest time-waster in Zotero--re-typing my search term every time I switch collections, add an item, or add an attachment. I'll love this improvement on this already excellent app.
