Locked annotations in Zotero

Hi,
I'm using an ereader (Onyx Boox Nova) to highlights some parts of PDFs, uploading back into Zotero and extracting annotations. However, it seems that with the new Zotero update, these highlights are now 'locked' in the Zotero PDF reader. Is there a way to unlock these, so they might be edited?

Thanks, but after going to File and importing the annotations, it still seems as if they're locked. Any suggestions?

Supported annotation types should certainly be imported. If you're using other types — e.g., shapes or plain text — those wouldn't be imported.

If you can't figure it out, email the file to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread and we can take a look.

Great. Thanks. They're being recognized, insofar as I can see them in Zotero and I can extract them. I just can't seem to import them for some reason.
