No, not a match unfortunately. I started using it but there's too much punctuation and they list three authors within in text citations etc). The paper is Medical Teacher (ISSN details and link to the specifics of the style they require in the post above, sorry I can't repost them as using my mobile now while juggling kids!).

Quick look really does suggest that https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:taylor-and-francis-council-of-science-editors-author-date should work, and it does list only up to two authors in text. It's also created based on that same guide. Could you say more about the "too much punctuation"

Thanks. I'm wondering if somehow I selected the wrong one in my word plug in as the description for this looks like it should work. But for some reason the style was coming up very differently (with extra commas etc, italics for et al and too many authors). I was having a lot of trouble with my plugin though so might have ended up with an incorrect selection in the midst of that. When I'm back on my laptop tomorrow I'll take another look and check it's definitely the right style.
