different functioning of PDFs

this PDF

after being imported in my Zotero, when selected shows in the right pane its summary.

the same file, in another Zotero (mine and this one are the same version) doesn't show its summary.
it's a minor thing, nevertheless i wonder which could be the reason for this behaviour

I think this refers to ToC extraction, which is a Zotfile feature

ahhhh...
it could be that the summary doesn't appear if one has not installed zotfile.

checked.
in the options of Zotfile, and in its website, i found no mention of ToC extraction (but i too have a vague idea of it)
i disabled Zotfile and restarted Zotero and ToC is there.

SOLVED
among the zotero parameters i found these three:
extensions.zotfile.pdfOutline.getToc;true
extensions.zotfile.pdfOutline.menuItem;true
extensions.zotfile.pdfOutline.tocDepth;4

if i set
extensions.zotfile.pdfOutline.getToc;false

the ToC of the PDF doesn't appear

there are those parameters, but checking how
extensions.zotfile.pdfOutline.getToc;true
is related to the visualization of the ToC is not simple, because like an annotation the ToC could be extracted/generated, and then stay there, even after the tool which produced it is no more active.

Yeah, that's exactly what's going on. ZotFile is doing this, but it's a one time operation: it just adds the note to the PDF on ingest. The note stays there regardless of what you do with Zotfile afterwards
