Reference list multiplied in Google Docs

Hey, I am currently working on my thesis in Google Docs and using Zotero for my references. I have three references so far, but they have multiplied so many times I lost count (I have written four pages, but the document is 67 pages long due to the references). How can I fix it? I tried signing in and out everywhere.

    1) Make a copy of the doc via File → Make a copy.

    2) Delete the bibliography and reinsert it, and see if this continues to happen.

    If you're able to share an except of the document that reproduces this, can you generate a share link and send it to support@zotero.org so we can take a look? (You can make a copy, cut down the document, and make another copy to clear the version history.)
