Zotero + Google docs/{Updating}

Hello forum!

Recently when using Zotero to insert footnotes in a Google doc, the citation doesn't render properly in the footnote and I instead get {Updating} in the footnote field.

What are my next steps to troubleshoot this?

This has been happening lately for some people due to a bug in Docs and/or Chrome. We're still trying to reliably reproduce it so we can report it upstream, but it seems to go away for people when using Firefox instead of Chrome.

(You may also be able to just close the tab, reopen Google Docs, and try again.)
