Some private group invitations to email addresses are not showing as "pending"
I have set up a private group and invited multiple people (without pre-existing zotero accounts) by email address. Some showed up as pending and were ultimately accepted, but some addresses were not displayed as pending and no emails were received by the intended recipients.
I have tried the same email addresses multiple times and the same thing keeps happening: I invite them. There is no error message. They don't appear in the pending invitation list.
I guess I can ask the intended recipients to first register with zotero and then I invite them by zotero user name, but i would prefer the invitation by email address to work consistently. Thanks.

Invitations would not be sent if there is already a pending invitation or they are already a member.
Emails are also not sent if previous emails were flagged as spam, but if they later registered a Zotero account with that address the invitation would show up on their groups page.

I have determined that the email addresses that "disappeared" were either primary or secondary email addresses of people who had already received invitations.
Would it be possible to add a warning message when these cases occur? For example: "Invitation not issued to email address abc@xyz.com because that person already has a pending invitation to this group (possibly via a different email address)"?
Thanks
