I got a new computer, downloaded \the new software, reinstalled the word plug in, and still can only get an in-text citation, no footnote (using SBL). can you please help?
Normally, I would see a footnote at the bottom of the page, but when I add a citation now, it appears this way: "v. 1 βαπτιστὴς This noun, found only in the Gospels of the NT and other Christian writings,(Danker et al. 2000, 165) occurs in..." I am trying to cite BDAG, p. 165
You don't have SBL set as a citation style. Note that the citation style is set under "Document Preferences" in the Zotero Word add-on and *not* in the Cite tab of the Zotero preferences (the list of citation styles there is exclusively for install/uninstall and has no effect on citation styles anywhere)
You have an author-date style selected. Are you sure you have SBL selected under Document Preferences in the Zotero Tab in Word? The style is NOT set in Zotero directly, but per document in the document itself. :)
