teaching others with zotero 5 or with beta?

I understand from poking around here in the forums that zotero hasn't been announcing a release date for v6. I will be helping some folks learn zotero soon, and I'm wondering if it is pretty safe to teach them the beta release, because zotero 6 is imminent? Or should new folks still play it safe with v5?

And once 6 is released, will beta versions auto-update to that release?

    Yes, you should definitely teach them Zotero 6.

    No, but we'll show a notice encouraging people on the beta to switch back to the release.
