All my citations fields were replaced with a link to a webpage

I was working on a document (.docx file stored locally on my computer) back in December, and I stopped working on it Jan. 3rd. I never touched it until today, nor did I share it with anyone. But now every single citation field, when I click on it, has been replaced by this link: https://www.zotero.org/google-docs/?8KMp4Z. I am not sure why, as I wasn't even using Google docs... Is there anything I can do? Zotero doesn't even recognize that I had citations in the document in the first place now :(

    You're misremembering this. You'd only have that if were using Zotero's Google Docs integration and then downloaded the document as a .docx rather than properly converting it.

    There's no way you got this simply from using the Word plugin.

    You'll need to find the version in Google Docs and transfer it properly or find a document that you were actually using with the Word plugin.
