Upgrade Storagehow to combine two libraries on one computer?
Dear zotero community,
Not having found the following question answered in the Documentation (https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/transferring_a_library) nor by searching the Forum, I would be grateful for any (short) feedback:
How can I move my Zotero library to a different computer, having already opened Zotero on the new computer and also added some new literature items, so there is a Zotero data directory with database items on the new computer.
Thus, I would not want to "delete the whole data directory before copying the new directory to the same location" as recommended in the above-mentioned Documentation.
(The new literature items on the new computer are all in the main My Library folder, possibly making a unification of the two databases easier because no folder structure has to preserved from the new library (in contrast to the old library with many (sub)folders)).

If you don't want to do that, you can export the library to Zotero RDF with files and import on the other computer, though note that that will reset the Date Added/Modified values and break any links to citations in word processor documents.
