Indexing of markdown plain text attachments with .md extension
Firstly, I just want to thank all of those who take the time to support and build this amazing tool.
I'm fairly new to Zotero but have really been enjoying using it in my Obsidian and Zotero workflow. There is just one challenge I'm struggling with in my workflow
Many of the documents I create and consume are plain text markdown documents that use the .md extension. When I attach these documents in Zotero they fail to index :( with a "JavaScript error: item x did not have a char set"
Simply renaming the file with a txt extension fixes the problem and the file indexes correctly.
Is there any way to modify the Zotero indexing process to include plain text markdown *.md files?
Any config files I should be aware of?
I should also mention I have the same issue in version 5.x and the new 6.0 beta both on Mac
