Highlighter toolbox doesnt alway follow higlighting on 2 column PDF [Zotero6]

When the highlighted text span over two columns, the highlighter toolbox stay on the first column (at the end of it, there some image spanning two columns below, I could send the pdf) , while I would expect it to follow highlighting and be visible where the highlighting ends in the second column

I could reproduce it on every 2 column pdf
(I expect annotation menu appear where the highlight will end, not at the bottom of the page)
