Upgrade StorageCannot access pdfinfo.exe
When I add a PDF to my collection, I get a message from windows that says:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Zotero\pdfinfo.exe
Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."
I saw this post - https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/87337/windows-cannot-access-the-specified-device-path-or-file - which said only one other person has encountered this problem.
That poster was directed to this post - https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/76825/zotero-does-not-start - and ultimately to Windows support. However, nothing on that Windows site seems to work since it's not the main Zotero.exe file. I've already checked permissions, and I do have them.

dstillmanedited February 16, 2022Those other posts are for zotero.exe, but the answer is the same. This isn't a problem in Zotero itself. It would be due to security software or an institutional policy on your system blocking Zotero from being able to run an auxiliary program within its own program files. I'm afraid that's all we can tell you.
