Reference of books with non-primary authors using APA7 on Zotero.
There's a guideline on the APA manual to make references when the author is credited with non-primary authors. The issue is that I can't find a way to make Zotero follow this rule.
What APA7 wants:
"Richards, J. C. (with Hull, J. & Proctor, S). (2018). Title of the book. Publisher."
What Zotero does:
"Richards, J. C., Hull, J. & Proctor, S. (2018). Title of the book. Publisher"
I can't find a way to make Zotero follow the rule other than manually editing the reference after it's generated.

adamsmithCan't be done. I'm doubtful that we'll ever implement that level of precision in the metadata schema, to be honest.

RolandoSJ83Thanks for the quick reply. I think it isn't a big issue after all. But it would be nice to have more options when introducing different types of authors (author, translator, editor, etc).

adamsmithWe will have more available author types in the future, yes

bwiernikSupporting “contributor” roles like this is part of my planned updated for APA style for CSL 1.0.2
