Upgrade Storage[Beta] Tags of notes within a PDF
First of all I would like to say that I think the beta version simply amazing.
Tabs, PDF reader, note taking... just makes your life easier. I would like to help by adding a comment/suggestion regarding tags of PDF notes.
1) So, you can tag to notes/annotations within a PDF. Those tags appear both in the annotations section within the PDF (left side bar) as well as in the general tag section in the library. In the annotation section they work perfectly but when you click the tags in the general library, nothing is displayed
2) You can not see the tags of the PDF notes when you look at the item (containing the said PDF) in the library. You need to open the specific PDF to see which tags the notes have.
Basically 1 and 2 are the same issue. Since the PDF note tags are not displayed anywhere on the item level, when I select the tag in the libraty, no item is displayed.
As I've seen people being asked about their workflow, or why they have an issue whith the topic they opened, I will briefly describe my workflow here.
=> I have an item in the library which inludes a PDF. While reading the PDF I highlight section/areas and add PDF notes. I assign tags to those PDF notes to be able to quickly find them later - for example when I want to create an item note only from PDF note/annotations with a specific tag or when I am later looking for an item with notes with this specific tag.
For me, the item note (which you can see in the library) and the PDF note (which you can see only when you open the PDF or create an item note from annotations) are of the same importance.
As the PDF note tags are displayed in the library I hoped it would be possible to select them and see the PDF they are connected to.
