Library gone

The computer I was using to store all of my Zotero resources died on me. When our IT dept. restored it, my Zotero library was gone! Can I retrieve it somehow?

If you had sync on then installing Zotero, logging in with your credentials and hitting sync will just draw down your library again.

No, it is empty and looks like a completely different format. I remember trying to sync, maybe I did it wrong?

Yes, unfortunately you don't appear to have ever synced, at least with the account you're posting from. Unless you have another account, your only option would be to restore from a backup of the Zotero data directory from before you lost the data.
