Shortcuts in MS Word 2008 (Mac) conflict (german keyboard)

Hi,

I'm having some trouble with the shortcuts provided by the Word 2008 plugin. Shift + option + a is a "Å" and does not insert a citation as indicated in the script menu. Even in the wikipedia article this is claimed to be standard behaviour:

So how should this be used? Thanks.

The shortcut is Ctrl-Option-a, not Shift-Option-a.

^ is Ctrl.
