Citation problems
Hi, Could someone tell me how to use 'et al' instead of a long list of names for an in-text citation? Irritatingly it use et al when you select it and then changes it when it is inserted.
Also, how can I cite just an author without the date or 'no date' appearing? Ancient texts such as Homer, have no date...

As for no date: in Harvard styles you would typically cite the date of the edition you're using. The alternative is to handle citations to classic works manually and completely outside of standard references
