Plug-In loaded in Word but tab not present in ribbon

I could not find another discussion forum for this issue, and the trouble-shooting instructions have not helped me, hoping someone can shed some light on this.

The Zotero tab is not appearing in the ribbon on Word (v 16.56 on MacBook Air), I tried reinstalling it through preferences in Zotero, restarted Word and it still was not appearing. I checked the Add-Ins in Word and it lists Zotero.dotm as currently loaded. So why is the Zotero tab still not appearing in the Word ribbon?

    This is in Templates and Add-ins? Is the checkbox next to Zotero.dotm checked?

    Is this a personal computer or an institutional computer? If the latter, there may be a policy restriction on loading templates.

    Yes, Templates and Add-Ins, and the checkbox is checked!
    It's a personal computer, but my Office package is through an institutional license, you think that affects something?
