iOS beta: local PDFs removed every test flight update
It seems my local PDFs need to be downloaded after every update to the iOS beta via testflight. This is very inconvenient when I'm traveling and don't have reliable wifi. I couldn't find a related post here, and nothing in the options strikes me as obvious.
I would like to *never* delete locally cached pdfs, much less every update. Especially as you have to "click" each pdf to download ( > 1800 in my library)
is this a test flight or a zotero problem? Any suggestions or helpful info I can add?

dstillmanedited January 27, 2022Are you just starting up the app after the upgrades and seeing the files missing, or are you being logged out and forced to log in again? The latter is a bug we've been trying to fix (though we can't reproduce it). The former certainly shouldn't happen, and no one else has reported it.

Himes.benjaminIt is the latter, I have to log back in after every update.
-
dstillmanOK, we're aware of that bug. The latest beta should prompt you to post a Debug ID here when that happens.
-
dstillmanBut that shouldn't be on every TestFlight update, just intermittently. For some people it's happening every day.
-
Himes.benjaminThat may just be a correlation with the test flight update then? I am using the phone app just frequently enough that there may be an update almost every time I log in.
-
Himes.benjaminShould i only post a debug id if promoted, or at the next update regardless?
-
dstillmanOnly if prompted

Himes.benjaminperfect, will do. fwiw, I'm pretty competent w/ c++ (for scientific computing anyway) thought not java script. Lmk if I can be helpful otherwise, I'll watch for a debug prompt.
