Text to Speech with JAWS not working

I am working with a blind student that uses JAWS as a text to speech reader. Unfortunately we are not able to get it to work with Zotero. Has anyone encountered this issue before or does anyone have any workarounds or resources for this?

    Zotero has historically had good performance with JAWS. Can you elaborate on what specifically isn’t working?
